Developmental Trauma and Dissociation: 30 years on

On 23rd-24th June 2018, CTC Psychological Services and the International Society for the Study of Trauma (ISSTD) will be co-hosting a conference on Developmental Trauma and Dissociation: 30 years on. The conference will take place at the Grosvenor Hotel, Chester.
As CTC is also an Adoption Support Agency and works with adopted children and their families, the conference will also focus on the impact and remedy of unresolved Developmental Trauma. It will highlight the impact of trauma on cognitive and emotional development, as well as on the body, and present a variety of therapeutic approaches to these areas. As well as plenary talks by the world’s leading experts in key note presentations we will feature full two days of parallel sessions (papers and workshops).
The conference will be held at the beautiful and luxurious Grosvenor Hotel and Spa, which offers excellent facilities combined with character and charm, right in the heart of the historic city of Chester. There will be a civic reception on the evening of Friday 22nd June and a special conference dinner and entertainment on the Saturday evening.
